Prescription Drug Abuse is Now An Epidemic [Video Infographic]
Just last month we uncovered a shocking truth. America is struggling with a drug abuse epidemic. What’s worse? It’s almost as if our nation prescribed it.
If you haven’t guessed it yet, America is struggling with prescription drug abuse. So much so that it has become an epidemic. Last month we released an infographic, Popping Pills: A Prescription Drug Abuse Epidemic, which illustrated just how out of control our nation has gotten with their use of prescription drugs. But we created this video to relay the fact that this can no longer be classified as use, but actually abuse. Here are a couple of facts to think about. With America making up just 5% of the world’s population, we still manage to consume over 75% of prescriptions drugs globally. Even more shocking… that’s enough to medicate every single adult in America every 4 hours for an entire month!
Please help us spread the word, and educate the public on the troubles of abusing drugs and substances when expecting a child.
